Communications Officer - Brisbane

Our client is seeking an experienced Communications Officer who will be located on the north side of Brisbane. As the Communications Officer, you will work under limited direction and be accountable to undertake work that is complex in nature.

Additionally, you will use your expertise to provide specialist advice to stakeholders on the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a range of communication products and activities.  

  • Ability to tailor communications to the needs of the audience, including writing content in plain-English and checking the accuracy of content
  • Prepare communication strategies, project and work plans detailing measurable milestones and outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with others to leverage off available expertise and be responsive to changing stakeholder needs
  • Maintain knowledge of best practice to identify, influence and implement communication improvements
  • Research and analyse information and risks to capitalise on opportunities
  • Guide, mentor and provide training and performance feedback for less experienced employees
  • Understand and comply with existing operating policies, standards and procedures and advise stakeholders on the appropriate course of action, statutory requirement or technological demands

Must have:
