We currently have an exciting Conference Assistant role available based in the heart of Sydney CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for all office and administrative duties. As a part of this hard working team it is their passion to successfully deliver high quality conferences and provide outstanding customer service to all clients and stakeholders. Your new role:

  • Meet and greet of clients at all levels
  • Assist internal team members with administrative support task
  • Managing and updating internal database and client files
  • Investigating and extracting data for current and future events
  • Assisting the team with event preparation duties i.e. Marketing collateral, information packs
  • Facility management and main point of contact with the building manager
  • Answering high volume inbound calls phone calls in a professional and articulate manner
  • Organise catering for internal meetings and functions
  • Liaising with key internal and external stake holders
  • Diary management
  • Attending events as requested
Your profile:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Polished presentation
  • Exposure and passion for the Events industry highly desired
  • Experience working in a customer service focused role
  • Ability to build rapport and trust over the phone as well as face to face
  • Confidence and excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy and CRM database management skills
  • Positive, self- motivate and result oriented attitude
  • Capability to work additional hours when required
  • Tertiary education within Events or Marketing strongly regarded
