Contracts and Analytics Support

The Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a busy and forward thinking team becoming part of the Community and Mainstream Engagement Branch of a leading Federal Government department.

As the Operational Support Officer based in the Sydney CBD office, you will provide high level support assisting with the maintenance and development of performance monitoring, as well as reporting processes for different business streams across different set geographical locations.  This will include interpreting strategy, process improvement and completing key analytics towards regional performance measures.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with the community and both internal and external stakeholders you will:
  • Rolling out the organisational strategy and engagement plan for the broader organisation
  • Performing high level data analytics and reporting, interpret data and assess results and providing ongoing reports.
  • Coordinating and driving internal quality assurance processes including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis, communities of practice and outcomes analysis.
  • Maintaining cohesive relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting current business needs by positively championing or coordinating ad-hoc tailored initiatives.
Please note, this role may include intrastate and interstate travel – so the flexibility to travel at times is a must.

About You:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • A high level of data analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience in interpreting data and analysing results using basic statistical techniques.
  • Ability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions.
  • Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • An understanding of the issues experienced by those with disabilities
  • Qualifications in Analytics or Reporting (beneficial)
This position pays an hourly rate of $45.74 plus super and will be for an initial period of 12 months with potential extension, starting mid November.
As this role is within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency in order to be considered. Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates.
