Corporate Records Coordinator

An experienced Corporate Records Coordinator is required for a contract role with a prominent cultural institution in Sydney CBD. This position is critical to daily operational efficiency especially in supporting priority major project work.

The position monitors and manages day-to-day records requirements including time-critical search and retrieval, user help desk, audit and compliance.
WFH makes this position even more important in monitoring records compliance across digital systems and providing training and support to new and continuing staff.
Skills required
  • Recent experience in a busy, hands-on records management role and ability to work independently and from home as required
  • High-level, recent Content Manager (TRIM) skills – user management, database management, business classification schemas, disposal schedules, security and access management.
  • Training and user support –file creation, Content Manager interface, classification and file titling
  • On boarding and off boarding of new and leaving staff to ensure business continuity and full capture of the records of leaving staff (including email, non-compliant external storage)
  • Implementation of new online training modules to all staff (new, online training modules have recently been completed are ready to roll out to all museum staff)
  • Understanding of records management compliance and legal requirements
  • Familiarity with NSW public sector records management
  • Records disposal management
  • Drivers licence (optional) and willingness to work at Castle Hill store one day/week (optional but nice)
