At high level the role involves providing consistent support to program and project delivery. This role will provide tools, templates and processes for program standardisation, perform project accounting and provide control over financial decisions.
 
As a Delivery Management Lead you will be responsible for leading, developing and retaining a high performing team, executing business systems and processes, and ensuring team objectives are aligned to organisational strategy.
 
Your duties will include, but are not limited to planning and coordinating resources, capacity and capabilities, providing consistent project tools, methodologies templates and processes, performing project accounting and performance reviews, analysis and reconciliations, providing control over financial and contract decisions, Engage and communicate with stakeholders to drive information transparency, identify and re-design business processes, and minimise the impact of change:

  • Develop resource planning model for internal and external program resources aligned to program plan and capability requirements.
  • Coordinate with program leads to manage and rebalance resources across the portfolio and identify potential resourcing and capability gaps (working with CPCO teams as required).
  • Develop standardised program / project tools, methodologies, templates and systems.
  • Monitor implementation of standard project tools and methods and iterate as required.
  • Perform project accounting, reconciliation and comparison against budget (with escalation to Corporate Finance team for any complex issues).
  • Develop procedures for project performance reviews and centrally manage project reviews (in conjunction with program leads).
  • Analyse project overruns and develop mitigation plans with program leads where required.
  • Act as the point of contact for ad-hoc program / project analysis.
  • Centrally manage significant financial and contract decisions in regard to external resourcing of programs and projects.
  • Coach stakeholders through program delivery and co-develop approaches to minimise change impacts and redesign business processes to incorporate program / project deliverables.
 To be considered for this role you need:

  • Prior experience in Enterprise, Government, Big Corporate.
  • Experience in delivering significant enterprise programs to enable growth and efficient operations.
  • Being a data-driven decision maker.
  • Demonstrated program management and project delivery expertise including in an organisation wide program coordination and support role.
  • Experience in program accounting and analysis.
