Must have skills;
  • IBM Integration Bus (Previously IBM Message Broker)
  • IBM MQ Series
  • ESQL, XSLT
  • SOAP/REST API
  • ETL Scripts
  • Source Control software e.g. TLS
  • Ant scripting for creating build packages. Responsibilities
  • Hands-on and Independently design interfaces, build, deploy Message Flows using IBM Integration Bus ( Previously IBM Message Broker) using ESQL and XLST scripts
  • Work closely with a range of business and technical teams to ensure business and end-user requirements met timely and any system issues are resolved.
  • Take ownership of business features and provide leadership in managing and reporting the deployment of the feature into production.
 
Candidates that have the following skills are strongly encouraged to apply;
  • 5+ years’ experience using IBM Integration Bus (Previously IBM Message Broker), ESQL and XLST scripts
  • Proven working experience with IBM Queuing Technologies (Should know how to manage queues and have an in-depth understanding of Queues)
  • Good understanding of end point applications from integration including DWH (SQL, Database Management), EDH (Hadoop technology), Siebel, mainframe, Sharepoint
  • Strong understanding of Database technologies especially MQ SQL , Oracle and Teradata.
  • Sound understanding of XML, XSD and Web Service protocols REST, SOAP.
  • Testing skills using tools not limited to RFHUTIL, SOAPUI, CURL and QLOAD.
  • Strong understanding core Java.
  • Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
  • Good understanding of delivery methodologies including Agile.
