EL 1 Project Manager - Geelong

As a project manager, your role is to plan, oversee and document all aspects of your assigned project(s) (including monitoring and managing progress reporting). You will work closely with the Program Manager and project staff to make sure that the scope and direction of each project, and stream of work within the program, is on schedule and within budget. 

Your duties may include but won’t be limited to: 
  • Manage the effective governance of projects and ensure appropriate evaluation of progress, quality, cost activities and escalation as necessary 
  • Build and manage collaborative relationships with relevant areas of the Agency, and external stakeholders to support effective delivery and communications 
  • Maintain project artefacts including, project management plans, scheduling and performance reports to ensure integrity of the project
To be successful you will have: 
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large scale reform in a Government context 
  • Formal Program/Project Management Qualification 
  • Analytical skills to draw on research, evidence and performance reports to influence improved service delivery
