EL 2 Director Financial Reporting


  • Preparation of administered and departmental financial statements
  • Provision of leadership and continuous improvement within the financial reporting and compliance team
  • Management of the internal capital budgeting processes and preparation of submissions to the Governance Committees
  • Updating and reviewing accounting position papers to reflect business activities
  • Provision of guidance to the grants hub with respect to the Government grants streamlining administration program
  • Development, coaching and mentoring the section in line with the Department’s wider objectives
  • Other duties as required
Your background:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting in a Federal Government environment
  • Grants management experience in a Federal Government setting
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and CPA/CA qualifications  
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and strategic experience in a complex organisation
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Baseline security clearance essential
