ENMP Project Technical Integrator

Our client is a government owned organisation providing safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry.
Currently has a vacancy for a 6-month engagement the successful person can be in either Brisbane, Melbourne , Sydney or Canberra.
The Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP) will deliver updates to operational (mission-critical) and corporate networks that will ensure existing systems remain connected to deliver safe, efficient and effective Air Navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting services
Summary & Purpose of position:
Coordinates technical activities relating to the integration and implementation testing or commissioning of system changes and project specific outputs. Assists in engineering research and design of equipment, facilities, and distribution systems
Reporting to and managed by the ENMP Project Manager, the Project Technical Integrator is to coordinate and integrate system change plans for the delivery of the assigned projects.
Skills and Competencies:
To be successful in this position, it is expected that the successful candidate will have the following attributes:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Technical Projects.
  • Ability to create new drawings or amend existing drawings – see Types of Drawings below
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately.

As a Project Technical Integrator, the role will coordinate and integrate system change plans in compliance with client policies, procedures, and meeting with the technical requirements of the National Airways System.
Key tasks of the Technical Integrator will include but not limited to:
Position-specific tasks
Work Instructions: Create Works Instructions describing technical changes to be implemented by the project.

Drawing Preparation: Create new drawings or amend existing drawings to identify the changes being implemented by the Project. This work will be undertaken with guidance and collaboration with the Drafting Office.

Types of Drawings: The type of drawings that the Technical Integrator would be required to create, or update include Site Plan, Equipment Room Layouts, Rack Layouts, Rack Wiring, System Diagrams, Monitoring Drawings, Equipment Interconnection Diagrams, Cable Layouts, Electrical Wiring, Data communication, Mechanical Structures, Civil Foundations.

Material Lists: Create a Materials List identifying all the items required to be procured by the Project and advise the Project Manager which suppliers these materials are to be purchased from by the Project.

Infrastructure Capacity Requests (F309 Form): Prepare the infrastructure capacity request via the F309 Form, and work with the technical teams, reviewers and approvers to ensure the project installs and deploys all hardware in accordance with company engineering practices.
Cutover Plans: Prepare Cutover Plans detailing the changes, including the Cutover Strategy & Process, Commissioning Process & Approval, Operational Impact, Risks & Contingencies, Reversion Strategy, Workplace Health & Safety, Communication Matrix, Reference Documentation.
Equipment Installed/Demolished List SAP Data Input Form (F104): The Technical Integrators would be required to complete the F104 Form detailing new Equipment being installed into icompany operations, including Model Type & Serial Numbers & Material Numbers. The Technical Integrator would also be required to identify the Equipment being Demolished as part of the changes, including existing equipment numbers to be removed. All Spare items supplied by the project should also be listed on the F104 Form.
Commissioning Process: The Technical Integrator could be required to assist the Project Manager with the Commissioning Readiness process obtaining project information & records, performance inspection results, installation certificates, SWMS records to be linked into the F348 Commissioning Readiness Form.
Travel to sites: The Technical Integrator could be required to travel to sites and manage the works as instructed by the Project Manager. This may also include escorting other contractors at sites, supervising the works, check quality, resolve issues, as required. Travel costs are covered by the Project and will be booked in accordance with company Travel policies and recommendations.
The Project Manager needs to sign off on all Travel proposed. .
As-Built documentation: The Technical Integrator could be required to prepare and complete. As- Built documentation as required by the Project. assist the Project Manager with the Comm.
