About the role:

We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher, for either the Toddler or Preschool room, of a well resourced, reputatble centre on the North Shore.

In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with other team members to design, implement and evaluate programs for children, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

Experience is not essential as we have a very supportive and experience team that are happy to mentor you.
The centre operates from Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6:30pm and are open 50 weeks per year with closure over Christmas.
With a curriculum that is designed to promote a strong sense of identity and wellbeing in children, instil confidence in learning and build effective communication skills, this centre excels in promoting the uniqueness and strengths of each child, which in turn will provide them with the best start for school and later life.
Requirements for the role:
  • An Early Childhood Teaching Degree or working towards (as recognised by ACECQA); New graduates are also welcome.
  • Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable and energetic

  • A passion for childrens education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of EYLF and NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide high quality care and education.
  • Provide leadership and positive role modelling to early childhood professionals to support quality practices and the philosophies and values of the Service
