Ignite is looking for an Econometrician to join a highly skilled and reputed Federal Government department in Canberra for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions.
As an econometrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of labour market modelling projects. Some duties in this role are,

We're looking for a candidate with strong proficiency in econometrics, post-graduate qualifications in economics/econometrics, and proficiency in R.
Kindly note that this is a specialist econometrician role, and the department is not seeking generalist economists or actuarial candidates. If you have experience with GitHub, Azure (Databricks and Datalake), or Posit, it will be an advantage.
Mandatory requirements
Australian citizen with an ability to obtain a baseline clearance.

- Focusing on Beveridge curve analysis and search and matching models
