Job Description: We are seeking a Full-time, Electrical Service Technician to join our clients team in Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our valued customers, providing exceptional service, support, and training assistance both on-site and remotely. As a representative of our company, you will uphold our reputation for outstanding customer support and ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of service procedures, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and certification.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical errors or problems, implementing effective solutions.
- Scope and monitor project work until completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Train clients on equipment usage and best practices, both in the field and at the factory.
- Ensure compliance with product requirements and safety regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Technician, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficient in electrical/electronic and mechanical/pneumatic skills, including the use of complex instruments like Digital Oscilloscopes, Radiation Monitoring Equipment, Optical CCD Camera Systems, and small-board computing systems.
- Familiarity with LAN and WAN infrastructure, programming, and instrumentation.
- Experience in the food processing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of servicing and maintaining complex equipment.
- PLC experience is a plus.
- Proficient in using common Windows programs and basic PC software and hardware.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-motivated, punctual, and able to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and travel within Australia and overseas if required.
- Possess a current and valid Australian Driver's License.
- A-Grade Electrical license (desirable but not essential).
- Willingness to undergo a National Police check and other relevant background checks.
