Various Federal Government agencies are looking for extraordinary Finance & Accounting staff to join their Sydney teams!
Responsibilities may include:
  • Maintain the invoice and billing system and process, generate and send out monthly invoices, allocate payments, process adjustments, generate ageing analysis, perform reconciliation, investigate and resolve client queries.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and review of sales and debtors system and financial performance reporting.
  • Assist with the establishment of financial plans and budgets for each business unit in consultation with the business unit management and their staff.
  • Assist with month end close and preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting to business unit managers and ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide detailed advice and operational support in relation to complex finance issues and problems.
  • Interpret relevant finance legislation, policy and standards in the application of practices and procedures to achieve a variety of finance outcomes.
  • Monitoring financial impacts and risks.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Understands how to work collaboratively with a network to support the delivery of consistent, quality service.
  • Oral and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with flexibility within a team and to communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure the smooth, efficient and on time operation.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in SAP or F0635 is highly desirable.
  • It is highly desirable you will possess (or be working towards) membership of CA, CPA or IPA together with relevant direct finance experience.
