Finance Systems Administrator | no previous IT experience required!

We are working with a Federal Government client to seek a contractor to join their Finance Systems Administration team.
This position would suit a candidate who has a Finance background and is looking to move into Systems Administration
This is an initial 6-month contract, with likely extension options.
Once trained, your responsibilities will include:
  • Ongoing support and helpdesk facilities for the organisations financial system
  • Management of the interface between the financial and non-financial systems
  • Contribute to the testing and implementation of updates
  • Develop and update procedural manuals and Quick Reference Guides
Your background:
  • Finance experience and a keen interest in IT
  • Willingness to learn new systems and develop IT skills
  • Minimum baseline security clearance essential
