Our client is an Australian success story specialising in the design, construction and delivery of Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems, predominantly in the Industrial, Food Processing and Municipal (Local Government) Sectors.
 
Due to continued growth and success of the company, an exciting and rewarding opportunity now presents itself to join their friendly team as a Project Engineer located in Gordon OR Sutherland.
 
 
Your New Role: Accountabilities and Duties:
  • Working closely with existing Project Managers and other team members to ensure complete satisfaction of project design, construction and delivery of projects.
  • Managing the relationship with sub-contractors, suppliers and colleagues to ensure complete satisfaction of project design, construction and delivery of projects.
  • Organising and sourcing equipment suppliers, and transport of equipment to projects all around Australia.
  • Preparation of detailed Engineering designs and related documentation.
  • Managing your own smaller projects.
 
What you’ll need to succeed | Client Requirements :
  • Degree qualifications in Mechanical OR Chemical OR Environmental OR Civil Engineering.
  • A good interest in the Water and Wastewater industry.
  • A professional and hardworking approach.
  • Excellent clear English written and verbal communication skills to liaise directly with suppliers, subcontractors, clients and colleagues.
  • A strong ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
  • A passion for continuing with Water and Wastewater Industry knowledge and education.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD software and MS Office.
  • Must have a Drivers License and own transport.
  • Able to travel interstate and overseas for projects at times.
  • Must live 45 minutes from the office for a 9:00am start.
  • PHD and Masters Degrees not accepted.
