HR Support Officer

Our client is an independent statutory authority who is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of its employees and has a work health and safety management system that incorporates a wellness program. They are seeking a HR Support Officer APS 4|5 who will be a key member of their small human resources team.

In this role you will respond to HR related enquiries, determine the best way of advertising for vacant positions, manage the on-boarding and induction process, involve in WHS needs and case management, also will be a back-up for reception if assistance is required.

You must have up to date knowledge and monitor the Public Service Act 1999, Government legislation and human resource practices to be able to provide guidance and interpretation of such policies and have experience in recruitment, human resources case management, including work health and safety, performance management and misconduct cases.
