HRIS Program manager

Objectives
  • To work with business stakeholders and the appointed delivery teams to establish and manage the HRIS Success Factors Program of work, to ensure that they deliver the required outcomes to meet the organisation’s business goals and objectives.
  • To ensure Corporate Objectives: Safety, Operational Performance (service and reliability), Customer Experience, People and Leadership, Value for Money, Partnership are met.
  • Work within systems and processes to ensure the optimal use of human, physical and financial resources to deliver safety quality, cost and timeframe whilst driving continuous improvement.
 
Knowledge & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Change Management Certification (PROSCI or PCI preferred) or similar
  • SAP Success Factors or similar large-scale HR product experience would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience in Program Management processes
  • Experience as Change Management Lead on major business and technical transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience embedding change
  • Experience in Cultural Transformation projects
  • Experience in implementing Enterprise Solution technology
  • Extensive experience in people management of dispersed or cross functional teams
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in project management, scheduling and cost control techniques.
  • Experience reporting and influencing Senior Leadership and Stakeholder with diverse needs
  • Demonstrated experience of escalating and resolving issues at Senior Stakeholder level
  • Possess a sound understanding of relevant Operational Rules and Procedures, HR Systems, Policies and Practices, EBA’s, Transport Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Environmental Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Awareness and commitment to Project Management, quality and risk management concepts.

Major Activities
Leadership and Change Management of HRIS Program
  • Lead and manage the implementation of the HRIS program
  • Acting as the principal link between Operational Control Management System (OCMS) and People & Organizational Effectiveness (P&OE) functions during the delivery of the project
  • Day to day team leadership of the program delivery team
  • Lead the day to day implementation of the Change Management Plan
  • Communicate the SAP Professional Services requirements to the program delivery team and business resources in a timely and structured fashion
  • Define program scope, goals and deliverables and associated program success criteria that support business goals in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Effectively dealing with and resolving escalated issues within the program delivery team
  • Appropriate, timely and effective escalation and resolution of issues with the Project Governance Board
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and assigned development teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and schedules for new initiatives to support the change
  • Set and continually manage program requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegation of tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
 
  • Successful delivery of the HRIS Program
  • Demonstrated success in the change management of the business to Success Factors
  • Delivery of the benefits to reduce costs, get rid of paper records and eliminate poor quality human resource data
 
 
Program Management
  • Directly lead and manage day to day the successful delivery of the program.
  • Establish and provide program management expertise work across the governance
  • Establish and manage processes to effectively manage, and escalate when required, Issues and Risks
  • Effectively manage day to day the activities of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team
  • Support the program delivery team in the securing of resources to the program
  • Establish and maintain appropriate program management plans, deliver to plans, resourcing, monitor and reports to ensure program success
  • Effectively manage the time, cost, scope and quality and of the program
  • Effectively monitor and manage any changes to the program
  • Effectively implement a forward looking planning capability to plan ahead for resources, tasks and deliverables
  • Demonstrated proactive and effective governance of the program
  • The project or program successfully delivers to schedule, budget and scope to the required quality
  • Risk and issues are effectively managed
  • Maintenance of high-quality program management documentation
 
Financial, commercial and delivery performance reporting
 
  • Manage, review and give direction to the final and commercial performance of the program
  • Overall accountability for program budget and timelines with direct reporting from Project Manager
  • Prepare program reports summarising key issues and strategically advising on options and solutions
  • Coordinate for a monthly Program Governance Board including bookings, agenda, papers in advance, minutes & action tracking
  • Chair for cross-functional Working Groups with a focus on issue resolution and action management
  • Track and monitor on compliance with approved schedule
  • Ensure Risk and Issues Registers
  • The program delivers the required financial and commercial performance
  • Timely and accurate completion of reporting
  • Stakeholders satisfied with program status
 
 
Stakeholder Management
 
  • Clearly identify program stakeholders and keep them updated and engaged on an ongoing basis
  • Represent the program interests in negotiation with key stakeholders to ensure cross functional service giving effectively supports delivery of the program
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the delivery of program
  • Actively seek positive engagement with stakeholders to address and resolve key issues to support successful delivery of the program
  • Executive Leadership, functions and other key external stakeholders satisfied with program outcomes
  • Service giving Stakeholders within the company deliver to schedule, budget and scope to the required quality in activities to support the program
 
The successful candidate will commence on the 1st of December, early start dates can be arranged if required, the position will be on a contract basis for 6 months, on offer is a competitive day rate and the opportunity to join a collaborative team in a fast paced environment.
