Role and Responsibilities:
As an HSEQ Coordinator, you will report directly to the HSEQ Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting safety, quality, and environmental inspections, ensuring consistent adherence to site setup procedures across all projects.
- Assisting staff, site teams, and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual arrangements.
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager in delivering the Safety Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, and practices.
- Acting as a company representative for all WHS matters.
- Proactively assisting work teams in implementing and embedding health and safety work plans.
- Keeping up-to-date with legislative changes and continuously reviewing and improving policies and procedures.
- Monitoring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Providing workplace safety, health, environmental, and quality support and advice to the Senior Management Team and staff.
- Assisting in assurance and audit activities within the company.
- Contributing to the development, review, and monitoring of the HSEQ Plan and objectives and targets.
- Minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety.
- Knowledge of HSEQ processes and previous experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Related industry experience, particularly in commercial and civil construction (highly desirable).
- Current driver's license.
- National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognized).
