We are seeking Internal Review Case Officers to work within our Federal Government Client based in Parramatta.  

As an Internal Review Case Officer the overall purpose of your role is working within a team environment to assist in completing review requests from external stakeholders

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Handle incoming requests and correspondence
  • Liaise with internal & external stakeholders to gather further information 
  • Exercise judgement in working with internal staff throughout the process to ensure high quality decisions, assistance and recommendations
  • Responding to phone and email queries
  • High level administrative duties
  • Adhering to agency policies and procedures
As this position is quite niche the below criteria is a MUST to be successful:

  • Demonstration of assessment/statutory decision making experience
  • Proven experience in an insurance/ claims assessment background
  • Displayed knowledge of a Dispute resolution complaints environment
  • Research and critical analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate, empathic and understanding nature
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Knowledge in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Understand the importance of managing confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to analyse information and make decisions
