Our client - the largest provider of multimodal public transport in Australia and New Zealand is seeking applications from seasoned ICT projects managers to deliver IT projects as per contractual obligations to the State of Victoria.
Reporting to the Program lead you will liaise with ICT and Business stakeholders to manage project plans, deliverables and resource requirements.
It is a contract job for 12 months with a view for another 12 months extension. The job offers very good daily rates.

Skills and Experience required for the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or significant proven experience, relevant to this discipline;
- Project Management certification (PMBoK, RegPM, Prince2) or formal training equivalent;
- At least 6 years of ICT project management experience;
- Proven experience in delivering projects that involve applications (e.g. implementation, upgrade, integration and application infrastructure refresh/upgrade).
- Experience in managing technical specialists, business analysts and managing vendors to contracts;
- Strong written and verbal communications skills;
- Proficiency in Project Management processes and tools;
- Financial Management, estimating and planning skills;
