IT Designer

Job Role
  • Interpret business requirements into applications systems design artefacts such as features that are written for Agile delivery.
  • Analyse system, development or support issues in collaboration with team members.
  • Produce function specifications that document the solution or implement new functionality, in collaboration with team members, business and other stakeholders.
  • Track, analyse and assist in the prioritisation of errors, risks and issues and suggest solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to peer review of design changes produced by other teams / team members
    Work as an effective team member, share knowledge and information with the team and contribute to meeting team priorities.
  • Proactively conduct quality assurance activities, understand and comply with the company’s corporate project management and governance policies.
  • Design, systems development and maintenance methodologies and quality assure the work of others to meet these standards.
  • Provide input to testing artefacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Sign Off Reports, Test Summary Reports.
  • Identify and document functional and integration testing requirements and write scenarios and scripts to cover that functionality.
  • Analyse data, application errors, and general environmental / infrastructure problems found in extracted test data.
