IT Support Analyst – Permanent –Sydney CBD/Parramatta

Our client is a financial services organisation that currently has office’s across Australia and New Zealand and in Sydney specifically in the Sydney CBD and Parramatta. They have been in operation for over a century and have impacted many lives across the region in a positive way throughout their inception.

Currently, they are after an IT Support Analyst to join their team of 6 reporting directly to the national IT Manager to support users both directly and remotely across the AN/Z region. This role will mainly be based in the Sydney CBD, however frequent travel to the Parramatta office is required.
In this role you will be required to perform the following:
  • Provide level 1/2 technical support to internal users over the phone, email and face-to-face
  • Troubleshoot and resolve and network, hardware and software issues
  • Conducting network and server maintenance and health check tasks
  • Configuring and installing laptops, desktops and printer equipment
  • Create and manage users on Active Directory
  • Work with backup systems, ensuring backups are running and completing successfully
To be successful in obtaining this position, you will have the following background and experience:
  • Proven track record in an IT Support role supporting internal users via face-to-face or remote tools
  • Technical troubleshooting experience within a large Windows based environment supporting desktop and network platforms
  • Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards (Microsoft Windows Desktop/Server/ Active Directory/O365)
  • Impeccable communication skills and comes across professional yet personable
  • Self-manageable
  • Doesn’t have an issues travelling between the Sydney CBD and Parramatta region.
