Marketing Operations Specialist

Our client one of the leaders in Education in NSW are currently recruiting a Marketing Operations Specialist to join their team.

The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing and communications team through effective planning, training, policy and process development, and adhering to compliance requirements.

Position Duties:
  • Work with People and Safety and Marketing and Communications leadership to ensure Marketing and Communication team compliance to staff on boarding, recruitment policy, and setting and managing performance objectives.
  • Develop the marketing and communication policies and coordinate and enforce policies impacting the marketing and communications team.
  • Implement effective procedures and processes across the Marketing and Communications team to ensure maximum team efficiency.
  • Ensure all Marketing and Communications staff are trained and remain compliant on new systems and processes.
  • Manage the Marketing and Communication plan development and delivery process.
  • Support Marketing and Communications team engagement through effective use of tools including Facebook at Work and internal staff workshops and events.
  • Act as the central point of contact and key interface for Finance to ensure compliance to budgets and requests.
  • Works closely with Finance to ensure compliance to policies and requests.
  • Place the customer at the centre of all decision making.
  • Work with the Line Manager to develop and review meaningful performance management and development plans.

This role is ideally located close to public transport and is initially a 4 month contract.

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description
