NSW Product Sales Engineer

About the role:

My client is a respected international air conditioning organisation with a successful track record of profitable growth which we attribute largely to their commitment to service. 

Due to business growth they are seeking 2 highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer focused sales person with first-rate skills in developing new business, sales reporting, product presentations skills and the ability to work largely autonomously to join our NSW team in there  project / variable refrigerant product channel.  

Reporting to the Channel manager and working closely with the local support team the applicant will be responsible for the business development and growth of the Variable Refrigerant / light commercial product channel in the greater Sydney region. (one role may include ACT)


  • Education min level - Associate diploma of Mechanical Engineering or Refrigeration technical qualifications 
  • Ability to discuss and deal with technical data and queries. 
  • Technical  Sales experience working in the commercial HVAC or related sector
  • Light commercial market primarily through consultants and mechanical contractors. - Preferred
  • Be an effective communicator – both written and verbal
  • Well-developed sales skills and be confident presenting to a varied customer demographic
  • Have your own vehicle ( Car allowance provided)


  • Interpret mechanical specifications and drawings; select, price, and quote appropriate equipment for projects
  • Follow-up all quotations including negotiation to successfully secure contracts in accordance with pricing controls and guidance
  • Completing and submitting quotations to successfully secure contracts
  • Grow and develop existing customers and secure new ones
  • Ensure all project design and applications are completed as per specifications
  • Participate in sales forecasting and planning
  • Keeping aware for upcoming projects and commercial development within these segments and engage into discussion, design and negotiating with Contractors and Engineering Clients

On offer is a generous base salary depending on experience , super, car allowance ($18,018)  & sales incentive scheme.
