Our client is based in Melbourne which currently requires Opentext Support Technician to provide technical and functional leadership of Level 1 & 2 Engineers in Brisbane for an immediate start.

The role will be 3 months contract with hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with an expectation of excellent professionalism and attitude in supporting Executive level end users

Responsibility/ Expectations from the Role

  • Provide day to day administration, support, and monitoring of MW enterprise content management technologies which includes: OpenText Content Server, Directory Services, Enterprise Connect, Brava
  • Support various types of configuration and application components including security, workflow/business process components, user interfaces, OpenText Web Forms and Live Reports
  • Develops and maintains operational documentation to support OpenText content solutions.
  • Provides Level 1 and Level 2 technical and functional support:
  • Creating External/Extranet Production Open Text Accounts
  • Restoring Deleted Documents/Folders
  • Debug or modify OpenText Workflows
  • Password Resetting Extranet OpenText Accounts
  • Stopping/Deleting Redundant or Duplicated Workflows
  • Stop legacy Opentext Email Notifications that are being transmitted to the wrong person
  • Re-assign OpenText Workflows
  • Modifying the Email Distribution List for Workflows
  • Reset the Enterprise Connect State
  • Removing or adding Emails from Workflow Templates
  • Support Chrome Extensions for OpenText
  • Emptying the "Manage Local Document" Cache
  • Adding Users to the Brava Group
  • Support OpenText and Outlook Side Menu and/or Application Menu
  • Repairing/Restoring the Opentext enterprise Client
  • Modifying Signing Lists
  • OpenText User Audit
  • Participate in call with Level 3 Support vendor to discuss the development opportunities/problem ticket and patches to be deployed
  • Deployment of OpenText problem tickets and incident fixes provided by Level-3 vendor
  • OpenText patch deployments
  • Co-ordinate with Database team for troubleshooting issues of Database locking and performance (if required)

Competencies Required (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in managing and supporting OpenText Content Server 10.5, 16.2 and related software
  • Experience with Content Server Administration
  • Experience developing/modifying OpenText Web Forms, Workflows and Live Reports
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server architecture, Active Directory, Windows Server IIS, Apache Tomcat as relates to OpenText Content Server
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012/2014/2016
  • Experience in providing L1 & L2 support
