Planner Support Officer

Ignite is seeking a Planner Support Officer to support and assist our client - a major National Government Department and Scheme which partners in the Task-Force delivery of high performing, high integrity, trusted national project dealings.

The Planner Support Officer will be the first point of contact for participants within the office and provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of reception duties, telephone enquiries and appointment processes. 

Additionally, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties which will range from:
  • General administrative assistance 
  • Diary management, telephone enquiries and feedback

Key responsibilities:

  •  Provide thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work under limited direction
  • Undertake research and contribute to reports as required
  • Coordinate and organise executive meetings and community forums where necessary
  • Receive, analyse and record complaints and other feedback in the Agency database

Must have:

  • Qualifications relevant to reception, administration or business administration
  • Positive contemporary attitude towards disability
  • Experience with supporting people with a disability
  • Competency with IT systems
  • Ability to engage in negotiation if dealing with external providers
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Capability to synthesise and analyse information and make decisions 


It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
