Looking to join an incredibly interesting government department? We are working with a premier government agency that is looking to add a Platform Engineer to their team. This contract has very long term potential due, in part, to an extensive program of work.
In this role you will be working on all aspects of platform engineering, management and support working with industry standard technologies based around Kubernetes.
Please note, ideally you will have a current NV1 clearance if not you must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to get this clearance.
Other than the clearance we are keen to speak with candidates that have:
- Highly skilled with Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ideally with Kustomize
- Platform deployment ideally Kuberspray
- Ansible expertise
- Git or similar source control
- Jira or Confluence
Other tools used include Apache Proxy and ForgeRock OpenAM and would be beneficial to have but not mandatory.
If you have a Certificated Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification you will really stand out from the pack. This isn’t mandatory, just nice to have.
On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months with daily rates based on your skills and experience.
