Procurement Specialist - Heavy Vehicle

Reporting to the Principal Program Manager, Rolling Stock Heavy Overhauls Program, you will act as the key Supply Chain expediter, providing expert planning, coordination and delivery of procurement and supply chain activities for the Rolling Stock Heavy Overhauls Program.

Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain activities for heavy vehicle maintenance (5 years+)
  • Proven experience in the use of Maximo for management of procurement, supply chain, work orders and finance management
  • Experience in kitting of parts for heavy maintenance activities
  • Experience with the creation, development and production of evidence-based reports using data from Maximo
  • Experience leading small teams and working groups in process improvement
  • Ability to trouble shoot supply chain and procurement issues and develop effective solution focused outcomes
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and deliver results within agreed time frames and quality standards
  • Strong focus on service quality and results including both accuracy and customer service
  • Works well under pressure with a proactive and positive attitude
Must have’s
  • Tertiary level Degree in Supply Chain, Commercial, Procurement, Engineering or related activity
  • Expert in the use of Maximo and in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Must hold a current Victorian drivers Licence

  • Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination (40%)
  • Supply Chain Maximo Management (30%)
  • Supply Chain Reporting (30%)
