Procurement and Contracts Specialist

A government organisation seeks a Procurement and Contracts specialist to establish and manage contracts, provide procurement guidance, and develop procurement documentation compliant with CPRs.
There are 3 positions available at APS4, APS5 and APS6 level.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and establish contracts
  • Draft procurement documentation
  • Provide procurement guidance to stakeholders
  • Analyse complex procurement issues
  • Coordinate procurement-related meetings
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Develop and administer procurement risk assessments
  • Communicate with professional judgment
  • Develop and administer contract management plans
  • Perform general contract management duties
 
Requirements:
 
  • Expertise in CPRs and procurement-related policies and legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in complex procurement and drafting procurement documentation
  • Proven ability to deliver results with competing priorities
  • Relevant qualifications or industry certification
 
Security Requirements:
 
  • Police Check and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Clearance required.
