Product Planner/ Owner

We are currently working with a client who a looking for an APS5 level Product Planner to join their team in an essentail role ensuring that they can comminucate effectively with their clients and ensure that they are receiving the appropriate interactions. This is a 12 month contract offering the flexibility to work from home two days each week and is offering a pay rate at the APS 5 level. Located in  Melbourne CBD.

This is a multi-faceted role with elements comprising of data analysis, CRM, business analysis, product owner, digital content creation and digital design elements. The succesfull candidate will have experience with designing and implementing user interfaces allowing for a seemless and efficient user experience. 


The Product Planner will be responsible for making it easier for participants to choose and interact with providers and to engage with the Agency to achieve their objectives.
The position is a team member position and will have responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership within the positions assigned Work Area.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Working across key business areas to design, develop and implement digital platform changes efficiently to improve the Participant and Provider experience.
  • Approaching change with a positive mind-set, possess commercial acumen and be accustomed to working in agile and fast paced environments where priorities quickly evolve.
  • Working with Agency business areas from the initial discovery process through to the system release of the digital components to achieve the desired Participant and Provider experiences.
  • Assisting in identifying more critical and less critical activities based on data analytics.
  • Determining and assigning tasks, developing timelines and meeting key milestones, following up on action items and tracking results.
