Project Management Officer

Our client is seeking a Project Management Officer to be accountable for undertaking complex works and delivering in accordance with the requirements of their work and team plans.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide detailed technical, operational, professional, policy and procedural advice in relation to complex problems
  • May be required to lead a small operational team and review the quality of work undertaken by others
  • Be accountable for organising their own workflow, and for making decisions in relation to their work area and team plans
  • Engaging with a range of stakeholders in a representational role on complex, difficult or sensitive issues
  • Will contribute to the delivery of projects by providing timely, accurate and professional advice on process and governance to project managers
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Be able to work autonomously to provide a high standard of client service to projects
  • Have proficient skills in MS word, excel and the ability to learn project management software tools
  • Be accountable for setting work priorities, managing workflows and accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements
  • Provide advice to stakeholders on the development and implementation of a range of products and activities
  • Consider risks to stakeholder relationships and work programs, assess their significance and develop strategies to address them
  • Modify activities or processes in compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks and policy
