Project Manager (Road and Stormwater Design and Construction)

Location: Western Sydney

Contract Duration: 12 Months 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join this Western Sydney LGA Council's team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of road and stormwater infrastructure projects. You will also be responsible for managing stakeholders and negotiations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, and construction.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Manage stakeholders and negotiate project requirements.
  • Oversee project teams and ensure that all team members are working towards project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in road and stormwater design and construction.
  • In-depth experience of project planning and delivery experience, preferably gained in large, complex work environments.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of complex projects, typically up to 3 years.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
