Our client, a Federal Government Agency is creating a scheme which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability both for now and in the future.
As a Project Officer (APS4) within Early Childhood Services, you will support the national roll out of the scheme’s Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Approach for children under seven years with developmental delay or disability and their families/carers.
We are looking for experience in project administration, great communication and analytical skills, and adaptability with changing goals and priorities.
In addition to these areas, experience with the following will be highly regarded:
- coordinating and developing briefings and correspondence.
- previous exposure to government in a social services policy, program management or service delivery context.
- experience in resource development
- experience or knowledge of the early childhood intervention sector or lived experience of disability
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
