Project Support Officer

Experience required 
  • Maintain financial status (reflect actuals against plan in the tracking XLS; amend the people plan based on direction from PM; liaise with Finance Manager to ensure cost forecasts reflect latest actuals and people plan changes)
  • Support / maintain the PM in managing Risk / Issue / Dependency and Change registers.
  • Support / maintain weekly and monthly status reporting and other reports, papers and executive briefs as required.
  • Perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.
  • Contribute and support the development and implementation of improvements and best practice in processes and procedures.
  • Support / maintain stakeholder relationships to assist with delivery of project outcomes and objectives.
Skills required
  • Solid MS Office skills (includes MS Project) with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Develop and support stakeholder relationships.
  • Plan, organise and prioritise work in the context of competing priorities.
  • Research and make decisions based on sound judgement, expertise and knowledge.
