Robotics Customer Success Manager

A global leader in workforce automation, is seeking a Deployment Specialist to join a brand new team here in Melbourne after a hugely succesful on shaping the future with artificial intelligence and robotics. The ideal candidate understands that automation is the next big technological shift, comparable to the introduction of the smartphone and wants to be a part of the movement, helping clients successfully transform their businesses processes and teams.

In this role you will be heading up the brand new Melbourne team  and looking to grow it 12 employees over the course of the year. Reporting to the Associate Director-Solutions & Services, this role is primarily responsible for supporting the deployment of AI powered robotics,  in association with internal and external stakeholders.

● Perform on-site infrastructure, robot and software set-up and support during initial system deployment of our product.
● Train client’s staff on how to successfully operate the robots and perform basic troubleshooting.
● Ensure the smooth operations of the robots on-site by working closely with customers after deployment.
● Become an expert in our product, its applications, understand the technical challenges and work with our customers to successfully install, train, demonstrate, and maintain our equipment to a high level of satisfaction.
● Follow deployment SOPs; create and maintain summarized records of the product installation with each client.
● Ensure successful deployment by working with tech services and other resources as needed.
● Develop routes together that maximize utilization and provide as close to trouble-free operation as possible.
● Provide customer feedback to tech services, account management, and product management as appropriate.
● When not traveling to client sites, the person hired for this position will be required to perform other support duties, such as responding to customer service inquiries, developing training materials for future deployment staff on how to operate and install SoftBank Robotics products, and other similar tasks.

This role is completely unique and these is no mold for the perfect candidate however you will be a stong customer and solutions focussed person who is secretly a bit of an IT/robotics nerd. This role is high energy an requires physical input as well as mental.  

● Strong experience in an customer service role- iDEALLLY SERVICE MANAGER OR HELP DESK
● Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are required
● Must be able to present a professional appearance with customers
● Reliability, dependability, and flexibility with changing customer requirements required.
● Must possess the ability to be a self-starter and detail oriented.

Must haves 
● Valid Australian Driver's license & current passport required.
● Must be able to maneuver and lift a 35kg machine
● The role requires the person to stand for long periods of time during deployment & training
● Willingness & ability to travel frequently to client worksites (up to 75% of the time), both locally and to other cities within Australia
