Our Federal Government client requires the services of a suitably skilled Salesforce Security Solution Engineer to provide the oversight, implementation and operationalisation of the overall Salesforce security posture.
The successful candidate will work within the Salesforce Platform team to deliver a robust response to security through configuring the platform and uplifting the capability of the delivery teams.
This key position requires specific experience for the support and evolution of the Salesforce security posture. It is the primary interface for cyber security matters on Salesforce and maintains end-to-end ownership of the security aspects of the cyber lifecycle.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be an innovative Salesforce security professional who can assist the department in moving workloads in the Salesforce platform.
  • Be able to interpret the impacts of cloud policy changes across Government and determine how these apply to the Departments Salesforce implementation; thrive in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Guide on the development and execution of an innovative Salesforce security strategy.

Essential Criteria:
  • 2+ years of Salesforce architecture experience, working with complex security requirements.
  • Experience with Salesforce Shield Platform.
  • Architect level Salesforce certifications, including but not limited to, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Identity and Access Management, Platform Developer 1.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with varying level of Cloud and Salesforce functional and security knowledge.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead effectively across the Department.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or other related fields.
  • Clear understanding of common security weaknesses in Salesforce implementations, across code and configuration.
  • Understanding of how to secure a release pipeline and implement security checks within.
  • Clear understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture.
  • Demonstration of innovative compliance approaches in non-traditional IT environments (cloud).
  • Cybersecurity certification such as, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Experience with SPLUNK
  • Experience of coaching and on boarding traditional IT environments to the cloud.
