Senior Capability Design and Development Officer - APS6

We are seeking a Senior Capability Design and Development Officer - APS6 for an initial 12 months contract with a possibility of extension located in Geelong. Our client is a large Federal Government Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and designing learning programs and will play a lead role in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of these learning programs.

In this role you will:
  • Recommend and develop training need analysis and other L&D activities
  • Develop and monitor accessible training packages that meet WCAG 2.0 AA standards
  • Providing a high level of instructional design capability to create a range of learning solutions
  • Coach and mentor team members on the instructional design process and training program delivery
You will have a background in the instructional design of a range of learning and development programs in a corporate setting. An understanding of eLearning design principles is beneficial. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant have a tertiary qualification in education or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
