About the company

Our Government client is looking for a Senior Change Manager for 10 months contract who will accountable for the delivery of all change management activities within each Business Implementation, working closely with the local program team and SME’s to maximise the sustainable adoption of change and minimise resistance.

About the role

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and manage the creation of statewide change management tools, artefacts, and schedules to ensure all change management activities are identified, scheduled and managed across the lifecycle of each business implementation.
  • Provide expert and strategic change management advice in relation to assessment, analysis, documentation and implementation of approved change management methodologies, including the evaluation and management of risks and issues.
  • Provide specialise knowledge of change management practices and approaches in relation to workforce management (particularly rostering) practices, processes and systems, drive business transformation and successfully deliver to the program’s objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Business Change Impact Assessments, development of change responses, interventions and business readiness activities relating to new supporting business models, business processes and IWFM solution related changes.
  • Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to develop change management documentation, materials and presentations necessary to implement, reinforce and sustain transformational change.
  • Manage and implement methodologies and approaches require to identify and deliver stakeholder engagement and communication activities such as briefing notes and reports to the relevant Governance Boards.
  • Represent the Program as required in high level and often complex communications, collaboration, negotiations and other interactions with clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the IWFM change management program is delivered according to the agreed methodologies and lessons learnt from prior implementations.
  • Mentor a team of change coordinators and other program staff in the areas of change management and business transition management to enable the quality implementation of an improved model of service provision.
  • Inspire team members by investing time in building positive and productive relationships, setting clear objectives and providing professional leadership, guidance and support.

Desirable skills
  • Proven success and high-level experience in workforce management (preferably rostering), transformational change management and leadership including enabling of benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, and communications and training within a large complex organizational-wide project environment.
  • Proven experience in the development, documentation, implementation and evaluation of change management strategies, tools and artefacts in a large scale complex project environment focused on workforce management (preferably rostering) transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure workforce management transformation design aligns to best practice methodologies, leveraging technology solutions and lessons learnt.
  • Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration to support effective business change and transition, including the ability to influence key stakeholders in an environment of change.
  • Advanced communications skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, consultation and collaboration with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex and strategic issues.
  • Demonstrated capability in change planning, analysis, interventions, resistance management, conceptualization and problem solving, and management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
  • Experience with workforce management/HR/Rostering solution implementations would be highly regarded.
  • While not mandatory relevant qualification in Information Technology and/or Project Management would be well regarded.
