Senior ICT Procurement Specialist

We are actively seeking multiple Senior ICT Procurement Specialists, to work with one of our Federal Government Departments.

Initial contract 15 months x 21 months extensions.

Duties will include:
  • Provide high quality procurement advice and strategy to business areas
  • Manage and/or undertake procurement activities on behalf of stakeholders
  • Apply fundamental principles in the administration and management of the tender process
  • Prepare a range of procurement documentation including request for quotations, request for tender, business cases, contracts and correspondence for review of senior staff
  • Engage regularly with vendors, clients, and/or stakeholders to ensure procurement processes are on track, inform senior executives of progress, and consider potential risks and issues

Skills and experience required but not limited too:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Connected Policies, DTA's Digital Sourcing Framework, CPRs and PGPA Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve programmes outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and apply problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to meet client's requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inputs from a number of technical stakeholders.
