Senior Order Fulfilment Specialist

Our client provides advanced security and products services to Airports, Ports & Borders, the Military and Governments worldwide. This Global Company is highly regarded in its Industry, has a strong local presence, with outstanding leadership in place.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Process sales & service orders in full cycle from order entry to invoicing with accordance to Smiths guidelines and policies and distribution of invoices
  • Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to manage and resolve all issues relating to order fulfilment
  • Manage all complex Sales Orders
  • Supervise and responsible for the communication with factories and shipping companies in relation to lead times and delivery
  • Supervise and responsible for all monthly and quarterly invoicing
  • Supervise the raising of Credit Notes
  • Supervise Goods Issues and Goods Receipt in SAP relating to Invoicing
  • Ensure backlog (orders outstanding) is managed efficiently with no past due status
  • Schedule and coordinate with freight forwarder transactions and ensure the correct reference is quoted
  • Tracking all import and export shipments related to product and run rate orders
  • Run monthly reporting for Order-to-Invoice analysis
  • Attend weekly and monthly internal meetings
  • Participate cross-functional initiatives when required
Qualifications/Experience:
  • 5+ years of related field experience within order management, logistics and customer service role
  • Excellent phone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks.
  • A high level of attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills are essential
  • Knowledge of SAP is required
  • Internal and external Logistics. Someone who understands the order to invoice process and has experience in billing
  • Coordinate with freight forwarder on how to bring products into country
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Solid communications skills both verbal and written and a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.
  • Excellent people interaction skills, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
  • Must be decisive, driven and conscientious and interact well in a team environment
  • Analytical and problem‐solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement
  • Possess good organisational, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to multi task and manage a wide range of activities
  • Strong customer service skills including phone etiquette and conflict resolution, and the ability to handle stressful situations with resilience and tenacity
