Senior Project Officer

Our client is seeking for a Senior Project Officer to support the national roll out of a vital program for children under 6 years and their families with developmental delay or disability. This role will require close working relationship with both internal stakeholders (executives and teams within the Agency, key external agencies) and external stakeholders to help implement this national program. 
 
You will bring to this role experience in program delivery and contribution to program design, well developed communication and analytical skills, and organisational skills. You will demonstrate flexibility and embrace the challenges of working in a complex and changing environment. 
 
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing advice and driving implementation of the department’s approach that will meet the objectives of multiple stakeholders
  • Working closely with other sections within the National Office to guide the effective integration of the department’s approach into the overall implementation of the national scheme
  • Contributing to the department’s deliverables
  • Preparing high level correspondence, briefs and reports
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Provision of clinical guidance to partners and regional staff
  • Promote best practice in early childhood intervention on a national level
 
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated knowledge across the field of early childhood
  • Proven experience in working on project or program to deliver on intended results
  • High level written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt and negotiate in a flexible and rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of people internal and external to your organisation
  • Demonstrated professionalism and integrity
  • Desirable - Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Early Childhood/Allied Health)
