Senior Project Officer

The Role & Opportunity:
Our government client is currently looking for a Project Officer who will be part of a professional team and engaging across a number of projects.
Skills and Personal Attributes
  • Superior analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, and an ability to understand and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a demonstrated capacity to develop and undertake a considered, methodical and structured approach to key activities.
  • Competency with common IT systems and programs, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Highly-developed written and oral communications skills and the ability to prepare reports, briefs, and other documentation as required.
  • Extensive experience in identifying and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the organisation and key Commonwealth agencies to ensure recommendations take account of internal and external specialist advice.
  • Ability to work within and across teams, and to adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to be flexible, to establish priorities and manage competing deadlines, and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to take initiative.
  • An awareness of risk and the need to escalate concerns.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for NDIS participants and the Scheme.
