This role is responsible for ongoing development of systems architecture blueprints for projects across finance domain, with specific focus on delivery of the service enhancement and digital transformation objectives.
Duties
- Deliver high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose
- Align solutions with Agency goals and objectives and Enterprise Architecture reference models, principles, policies, standards and roadmaps
- Liaise with the finance team and key solution stakeholders to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved
- Maintains technical oversight and helps solve complex issues arising during project delivery
- Facilitate technical decision making.
- Present the project solution at approval at the appropriate Governance Councils
- Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory
- Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Broad technical & architectural background delivering solution architectures for projects; experience balancing project and program, project, and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
- Experience working on finance projects, including working with payments systems, transformation teams, UX/CX designers, and assistant technology enabled (Accessibility Compliant) applications.
- Familiar with deployment in public and private government approved cloud and associated security considerations; experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments
- Having detailed understanding of digital, mobile and web architectures that leverage API’s, microservices, and stateless token-based authentication and authorization
- Experience leading finance transformation programs and payments systems.
- TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification
- Azure or AWS cloud architectural certifications.
- Experience in UML & exposure to Salesforce
