About the role:
This role will be part of the Corporate Services Team to assist in the delivery of the People, Systems & Culture functions for the entire organisation. This includes the cross training of key functions within the Corporate Services and not limited to those related to ICT.
 
The ICT Support Officer is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, troubleshooting and reliable operation of ICT systems. The role will be required to liaise very closely and maintain professional relationships with other staff across the company and external stakeholders in supporting the needs of the business.
 
Key Functions/Responsibilities:           
  • Provide technical support in coordinating, actioning, and monitoring ICT requests and incidents.
  • Provide first point of IT support contact via email, telephone, in-person, and ticketing tool.
  • Manage the support ticket elevations to closure with external MSP and ISP providers as required.
  • Assisting with maintenance and administration of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 Platform/Applications.
  • Creating and maintaining ICT related documentation.
  • Configuration and deployment of end user devices
  • Manage communication providers and end-user devices.
  • Manage ICT procurement across the company.
  • Organize ICT equipment and services for setup of new construction sites as required.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and review scope for growth
  • Implementation and development of policies on ICT related matters and the establishment of relevant procedures
  • Training users on security threats and program access and navigation.
  • Occasional travel to remote office locations to provide on-site support, as necessary.
  • Mentor and support a small ICT support team to improve capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Chair monthly ICT operations meetings.
  • Process IT asset acquisitions in the Asset Register as required.
  • Allocation of all ICT related expenses.
  • Ensure knowledge management systems and documentation are up to date.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Previous IT Support experience
  • Certificate III or above in Information Technology or relevant industry experience (desirable).
  • Knowledge of basic IT processes and hardware including, email, printers, laptops, file sharing.
  • Demonstrated experience using Windows server and desktop products including active directory.
  • Demonstrated experience administrating and troubleshooting Microsoft Office including 365.
  • Demonstrated understanding of CRMs and Payroll software.
  • Experience in supporting remote staff.
  • Current driver’s license
