About the Organisation
Our client is a Federal Government Agency under the portfolio of Revenue and Financial Services. Following the final report of the Black Economy Taskforce, our client is undertaking a broad range of compliance activities to address the behaviour of unprofessional or unethical stakeholders who are involved in black economy related activities.

About the Role

Successful candidates will be predominately responsible for answering inbound calls received via a general enquiry line. We are seeking team players, who can work collaboratively under general direction and be accountable for delivering results to assist, support and educate clients and internal staff.
We are seeking people experienced with providing telephone support in a complex, fast paced and changing environment. Strong communication skills are essential and an understanding of the tax agent environment is desirable. You will be accountable for a range of procedural, operational and administrative activities

Requirements to be Successful

  • Demonstrable experience in providing information, answering questions and responding to complaints and enquiries
  • High level of computer literacy
  • An ability to learn new skills and impart knowledge
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Demonstrable ability to tailor communication, presentation and language styles according to the needs of the individual and/or audience
