Team Assistant / EA

A large Australian Telco is looking for a Team Administrator to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with possible view to extend. The successful applicant must have prior experience in supporting executive level managers. You will be providing clerical, administrative and general office duties for the General Manager and direct reports as required. Experience within the telecommunications industry will be a significant advantage.

Key responsibilities
  • Diary management and meeting coordination
  • Co-ordination of recruitment and on-boarding activity for new employees
  • Arrange travel and be the central point of contact for all travel bookings
  • Working closely with the Resourcing Manager and Facilities teams, take an active role in co-ordinating seating and office space requirements
  • Produce and/or finalise standard reports and presentations to a high quality
  • Co-ordinate Events
  • General Administration as required

  • Intermediate to advanced user of all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Excel (Microsoft Version 7)
  • Operational secretary experience is mandatory
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm 

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in an Administrative role supporting senior managers
  • Proven ability to plan, co-ordinate and follow through on projects
  • Development of new processes and improvement of existing processes (desirable)
  • Previous experience within the telecommunications industry (desirable)
  • Document management and version control (desirable)
