Salary: $118k - $145k + 15.4% Super! (Based on Exp)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build application-based solutions
  • Provide leadership and mentoring capability to junior staff within Development & Analytics.
  • Build and maintain-support a portfolio of applications-solutions
  • Share information and actively participate in the IT wide project planning and activities as a team member.
  • Motivate and enthuse others including the assessment and provision of constructive feedback on performance.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Build fit-for-purpose solutions that align with business needs
  • Undertake a range of activities in the software development life cycle
  • Research and maintain a high level of awareness of industry best practice
  • Collaborate with team members, by discussing best practise approaches to future projects, and performing code reviews
  • Act as client support, system support, resolving incidents to ensure user productivity is maximised

What we are looking for:
  • Degree or higher in Computing Science or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in web application development with a proven track record in successful solution delivery, including requirements gathering, review and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience in a technical senior development role, including guiding and mentoring junior, mid and senior level application development staff.
  • Experience in improving and maturing development process and strategies, including testing, development pipeline and security.
  • Significant demonstrated experience with the PHP Framework Symfony and associated front-end technology in recent projects, within an enterprise setting.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of applications in a regulated environment, consisting of bespoke and COTS application-solutions.
  • Experience in leading and influencing projects in order to ensure positive and fit for purpose outcomes.
  • Knowledge and experience with contemporary SDLCs, including AGILE and associated toolsets.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technology, adopt new strategies and contribute to the Development & Analytics process and strategy landscape
