I am currently recruiting for an Technology Risk Management Specialist for a large Government organisation within Australia to start ASAP.

As Technology Risk Management, you will contribute to effective delivery of Technology risk accountabilities within a safety critical environment through the ongoing development and management of procedures, controls and reporting. The incumbent will provide the group with specialist advice and support to enable effective governance and execution of Airservices Risk and Compliance frameworks, enhancing the compliance and assurance culture within the group



Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Technology risk management processes, procedures and templates, including integration and interfaces with other frameworks.
  • Evaluate group risk management outputs to ensure the group is producing effective and compliant outcomes and provide guidance and support to improve governance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on effective management of risk management.
  • Conduct process reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and capability uplift.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities that support effective safety and risk management within the group, including training, reporting and workshops.
  • Identify training and communication requirements to ensure relevant staff understand risk management accountabilities, processes and procedures.
  • Develop and manage risk compliance reporting to support group and enterprise reporting requirements.
  • Act as the Technology SME for the COBIT framework.


Skills & Requirements
  • Qualification in COBIT Framework (Mandatory).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Risk, Engineering (Desirable).
  • Proven knowledge of the regulatory environment in which Airservices operates and systemic safety and risk processes, systems and principles of safety and risk management in a safety critical environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain productive relationships and negotiate and influence others to achieve quality outcomes and results.
  • Experience in the development of reports and systemising activities to drive efficiency and improve knowledge sharing.
  • Operational Safety Management and GRC Community of Practice.
