Director – Partner Market Strategy

The Director – Partner Market Strategy is a leadership position that sits within the Partner Performance Division, within the Participant Planning Experience (PPE) Group.
The PPE Group is responsible for the delivery of strategic and operational activities to enable the business to deliver a world leading insurance scheme.  
As Director you will lead a small team to develop a strategic approach for partner market development and the Partner pipeline to support the business’ mission.  You will bring to this role experience in market development, well-developed leadership skills, stakeholder engagement attributes, and organisational skills. You will demonstrate flexibility and embrace the challenges of working in a complex and changing environment. The Branch will develop long-term strategy consistent with the organisations mission. The Partner Strategy Branch will work closely with the Local Area Coordination (LAC) and Early Childhood (EC) Contract Management Branch, and Partner Performance Branch as part of the LAC and Partner Performance Division.

Duties as Director of Market Strategy your duties will include:

  • Research and develop a market development strategy to promote the partnership program for LAC and ECEI in the organisation.
  • Undertake a market analysis within each jurisdiction to understand local market dynamics, gaps and opportunities to develop the partner market to meet the future need of NDIS
  • Analysis of current partner performance, geographic coverage, capability and viability to assess future market requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to promote and support the integration of partner capability into the NDIA
  • Provide strong leadership and mentoring for the team within the Branch and prioritise work to achieve key work deliverables
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Agency staff, PITC and external stakeholders.
  • Display and foster behaviours in line with organisations values and behaviour charter.
Skills and Personal Attributes Leadership;
  • Proven experience leading teams within a legislated environment where decisions involve judgement based on the assembly, analysis and application of all available evidence.
