Workplace Services Officer

We are hiring a Workplace Services Officer for a government client, 3 months contract role with possible extension.

 

Location:   Traralgon

 

 Desirable:

  • has experience in client service (and/or building management)
  • is client-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • communicates effectively in order to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • works collaboratively in a team environment to achieve set business outcomes
  • proactively organises their workload and is solution-focused
  • is enthusiastic and self-motivated with a keen focus on learning and service improvements
  • shows attention to detail
 

DUTY STATEMENT

  • Undertake a wide range of Workplace Services, including Facilities Management activities, to service our clients
  • Under general direction, perform administrative and procedural tasks governed by well-established work practices, operating policies, or precedent
  • Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders including responding to and escalating issues as required
  • Work collaboratively in a team based environment which includes actively participating in, and contributing to, team meetings and supporting the business objectives
  • Solve problems that may be complex yet broadly similar to previous situations, and solutions generally can be found in documented precedents or procedures
  • Understand specific stakeholder needs and interpret a variety of legislation, policies and procedures and measure compliance with these
  • Participate in the development and training activities of the work area and take steps to identify and meet own learning and development needs
  • Understand and apply the knowledge, experience and skills required by the work area to achieve business outcomes
 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current driver's license is highly regarded
  • ability to obtain baseline clearance
